How this web site was born: to kill time by writing. Not a good writer but I like writing and had tons of time to kill back then... 

Here I write about food, experience as an expat in China, memorable chapters from "Journey to the West" aka "Monkey King", etc. 

I also wrote how to learn Chinese, my third language. I thought knowing three languages was enough... until I discovered that I should have learned Spanish because lots of active Candy Candy fans use Spanish :D

I wrote a lot of fanfics for Candy Candy manga, my version of Candy Candy final story (since I was too frustrated with the open ending). Tell you in advance: I support Neal Leagan. Yup, I'm his supporter, whole heartedly, give all my very existence to defend him.
